Solving the Unseen, With Our Products

CEO MESSAGE

At Locus Blue, we go to the field, listen closely, and observe with curiosity.
That’s how we discover real problems that others have yet to notice.

Locus Blue began when founder Miyatani, while working at an Israeli startup, launched the company driven by a simple conviction: “I must start my own business.”

In the five years since our founding, we’ve immersed ourselves deeply in the civil engineering industry. What once seemed foreign—technical terminology and customer feedback—has become second nature to us.

As a first-time founder, I’ve encountered and learned from every typical challenge in launching a business, developing products, and building an organization. Though I sometimes questioned my aptitude for entrepreneurship, the path forward now lies clear before me, like morning mist giving way to sunshine.

We will continue to “Solving the Unseen, With Our Products”

VALUES

ALL SD – All Sales, All Develop
Great products don’t come from working in silos. If engineers just build and the business team just sells, we miss out on real innovation.
Engineers join sales meetings to deepen their understanding of the customer, while sales shares frontline feedback to shape what gets built.
By collaborating closely, we move faster, learn smarter, and grow the business—together.
Screen to Site
You can’t truly understand your users through Zoom calls alone.
Online meetings and interviews are a starting point—but real insight comes from being on-site.
When you step into a user’s office or job site, you notice things you’d never catch through a screen.
When in doubt, get out of the meeting room. Get into the field.
Head to Share
The bigger an organization gets, the easier it is for individual ideas and thoughts to get lost.
That’s why we write things down—ideas, questions, lessons learned—so they can be shared.
And when it comes to day-to-day work, we keep things open and accessible to everyone.
Transparency isn’t just a value, it’s how we grow together.
