CEO MESSAGE
We seek to address global societal issues through efficient detailed point cloud processing.
Locus Blue Co. Ltd. (formerly ScanX) was founded in October 2019. In September 2020, we released ScanX, an online point cloud processing software that we offered at a low price to make it accessible for anyone use. We started from scratch with a small international team of engineers and business members, and steadily grew from there.
We prioritized building long-lasting relationships with our customers, offering software subscriptions and visiting each customer one by one to understand their needs.
A year and a half since launching our service, we’re grateful that it has been used by customers in 42 prefectures, who have uploaded point cloud data from over 10,000 sites.
Having reflected customer feedback into our product development roadmap, we released a new version in June 2022. We have constantly been improving it and adding more features since its release.
We will strive to improve the efficiency of industries around the world and help solve social issues such as labor shortages and disaster response as one cohesive team.
